Skateboard Equipment Materials

Snowboards and their equipment utilize a combination of materials to achieve the desired performance and durability. Common materials include various wood types for the core, fiberglass for reinforcement, and plastics for the base and topsheet. Steel edges are crucial for turning and control. Additionally, materials like carbon fiber and Kevlar are sometimes incorporated for specific performance characteristics. 

Core Materials:

• Wood:

Often laminated hardwood like beech, birch, aspen, or bamboo. Wood provides a lively feel, vibration damping, and shape retention.

• Non-Wood:

Materials like carbon, kevlar, and aluminum honeycomb can be used for strength, stiffness, or weight reduction. 

Other Key Materials:

• Fiberglass: A common reinforcement layer, often triaxial, saturated with epoxy to bind the materials together.

• Epoxy: A resin that bonds the various layers of the snowboard.

Deposit in. Third party funding pools provide equal amount backing within S.B.G - CIG then once the Unit is provided the deposit & agreed IMSRP is released

Cancelled orders after units are available for delivery results in deposit financiers having to charge a fee to find a new buyer on units which guarantees S.B.G - CIG does not run at a loss in the event of sabateur purchases as costs are covered at a minimal before agreed IMSRP
